Anti Bullying Week, November 2022
Year 1-2 During the week, the class looked at different forms of bullying such as verbal, physical, emotional and cyber. We discussed examples of these and what we should do if we get bullied. Children also looked at the Islamic side to bullying. The class then made wrist bands with messages to discourage bullying.
Year 3-4 This week year 3 and 4 made anti – bullying posters. They watched a PowerPoint/video on Reaching Out and bullying, looking at real life scenarios. They made Anti-bullying wristbands. On Friday they wore their own clothes to show how difference is to be positive and not bullied.
Year 5-6
The theme for Anti-bullying week this year was ‘Reach out’ to empower children to do something positive to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes. Whether it’s in school, at home, in the community or online, let’s reach out and show each other the support we need. Reach out to someone you trust if you need to talk. Reach out to someone you know who is being bullied. Reach out and consider a new approach. Year 5/6 children made wrist bands and wrote anti-bullying messages
