Experiment a rocket‎ by KS1

This week in ‘Science Week’ our super scientists in year 1 & 2 have been learning all about Isaac Newton and Neil Armstrong’s discoveries. We have been learning about Neil Armstrong’s exploration to the moon. In science we have been learning about Isaac Newton’s discoveries and theories on his 3 laws of motion. The children made predictions about their experiment. We walked to the local park to launch our rockets. Children used empty fruit shoot bottles and mixed vinegar with baking soda and observed a movement which eventually reacted. The children had a great time making scientific discoveries.
